Catalog description

This course gives students an opportunity to begin learning how academic and professional historians research, write, and communicate historical knowledge. On-campus study will be integrated with practical hands-on experience in historical settings. The class will incorporate specific historical themes as a way of helping students see the application of theories and methods introduced in the class. In conjunction with class seminars, the individual student will set specific goals and objectives in the study of human social behavior and/or institutions.
