Catalog description

This introductory course is designed to give students the opportunity to explore literary genres by a) identifying the conventions of the selected genre(s) and b) reading literary artifacts within the genre(s). Topics may include poetry, nonfiction, creative nonfiction, speculative fiction, science fiction, magical realism, drama, and fantasy. May be repeated twice for credit when topic varies.
