Foundations of Education

Catalog description

This course introduces students to the education profession, with emphasis on educational history, policy, public school law, and accountability requirements of contemporary public education. Ethics and dispositions; the role of technology in teaching and learning; and TAMIU program requirements will also be explored. Students will engage in field-based experiences.
