Catalog description
This course covers the fundamental concepts, theories, and analytical methods of hydraulics and hydrology, which are essential for understanding water movement and management in both natural and engineered systems. Students will explore topics such as fluid properties, flow dynamics, water flow through pipes and open channels, watershed hydrology, groundwater flow, and urban sewer systems. The course also covers the hydrologic cycle and techniques for water resource assessment and management.
