Practicum Seminar in Arts II

Catalog description

The Senior Practicum in Art is a dynamic, two-semester capstone course for advanced students in the B.A. program. Designed to synthesize and apply their artistic skills and knowledge, this course provides an in-depth experience in creative development and professional practice. The second semester is dedicated to the completion, refinement, and public presentation of their projects. Students will finalize their work, prepare a professional portfolio, and participate in a public exhibition. Emphasis will also be placed on refining artist statements and mastering professional practices such as marketing and networking. Must be taken concurrently with ARTS 4301 or ARTS 4303 or ARTS 4304 or ARTS 4324 or ARTS 4361 or ARTS 4365 .
