Leadership for Post-Traumatic Events

This course is designed to prepare leaders to lead when the world goes awry. We live in a world marred by traumatic incidents of all kinds. Not only will we lead others who have been through traumatic events, but we will also experience our own moments of trauma in life. The first part of the course will dive deep into the impacts of trauma on the human mind and body. We will learn about historical attitudes regarding trauma and then unpack what today’s science reveals about best treatment practices. Once we have established a strong baseline knowledge of trauma, we will dig into leadership principles that will help us to lead ourselves, our families, and our teams on the other side of trauma.
