Catalog description

Prerequisite: MUSA 4020. A professional level course in live audio engineering that will focus on the expert design, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of complex audio systems. Students will be introduced to acoustic simulation and loudspeaker modeling software, the planning and management of live events, and the roles of front of house engineer, monitor engineer, system engineer, and stage techs. All music majors must achieve a grade of "B" is in this course.
