Psychology of Music

Catalog description

This course provides an introduction to the music learning and teaching from a psychological perspective. Students will gain knowledge and skills in music psychology as musicians themselves, as well as music educators in the contexts of K-12 classrooms and applied studio teaching. All music majors must achieve a grade of “C” in each music course. If a lower grade is earned, the student must repeat the course.
