Introduction to mechatronics systems; modeling of mixed mechatronics systems; microcontroller programming and interfacing; theory, selection, and implementation of sensors and actuators commonly used in mechatronics system; control architectures and case studies in mechatronics system; Introduction of robotics; robot programming; machine vision. Students taking 5000-level need a special project and a paper.
