Catalog description
Prerequisite: CEE 3110, ME 3010, or consent of instructor. Elastic and anelastic properties, dislocations, slip, plastic deformation, fracture mechanics, creep, fatigue and fatigue crack propagation, materials testing, and introduction to failure analysis. Students enrolled in the 5000-level course will be required to complete additional work as stated in the syllabus.
