Concepts of Caregiving

Catalog description

This course examines the concepts of caregiving both personally and professionally. This includes roles of caregiving, respite care, crisis management, personal connection, ethical boundaries, cultural aspects, insurance, and legal issues. This course will not only explore the traditional theories of caregiving but will also focus on aiding students in the development of their own personally-centered approaches to caregiving in their personal and professional environment.
