Service Learning

Catalog description

This course provides students the opportunity to engage in a Service Learning project within the community. Students will have the opportunity to complete sixty service hours at a not-for-profit organization, while gaining work experience for the future. In addition to the service hours, students are required to read a textbook related to service learning, complete journal entries, write reflective essays relating the work experiences to the text, and complite an annotated bibliography relating research articles to the text.
