Prerequisites: GEOL 1040 or GEOL 3210. Fundamental depositional processes, sedimentary structures, and facies models of siliciclastic and carbonate sedimentary rocks. Basic stratigraphy concepts, methods of correlation, and introduction to sequence stratigraphy.
