Remote Sensing and Field Applications of GIS

Catalog description

In this course, students will navigate the technology related to the collection, processing and application of remote sensing and imagery data for use in Geospatial applications. Commonly used open-source datasets as well as student-collected data will be used throughout the assignments and course content. Students will work independently and collaboratively to complete projects and assignments using GIS applications and technology that are commonly used in the field of remote sensing, environmental science, geographic information systems and spatial analytics.
