Catalog description

Prerequisite: Full admission to the Teacher Education Program. Corequisite: FOED 3820. This course introduces the foundational building blocks of programming, including primitive data types, functions, algorithms, flow charts, common searching, basic data structures, and control structures. Computational thinking concepts will be defined and examined within programming languages. A grade of B or better is required to meet requirements for licensure candidates.
