Catalog description

Corequisite: CHE 4060. Chemical reaction kinetics and chemical reactor design. There is an emphasis on homogeneous reactions and ideal and non-ideal reactors. Introduction to laboratory experiments to illustrate typical situations found in chemical reacting systems: kinetics parameter determination, resident time visualization, and introduction to different types of reactors, (i.e., batch, tubular and gradient-less).
