Catalog description

This course examines genetic structure of populations and evolutionary forces shaping genetic variation over time. Students conduct hands-on analyses using real datasets, covering Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium, population structure, coalescent theory, and natural selection. Practical skills include using molecular and bioinformatic tools such as SNP genotyping, RNA sequencing, and eDNA metabarcoding.
