Senior Capstone

Catalog description

Prerequisites: ART 1320, ART 1340, ART 1250, ART 1350, ART 1045, and one of the following: ART 1050, ART 2330 or ART 2340 and 15 credits of studio electives. The senior capstone is intended to verify the student's ability to conceive, plan and execute a small body of work appropriate to the liberal arts degree. The senior capstone group exhibition body of work should represent a cohesive, aesthetically unified, group of works fulfilling the senior capstone project. Additionally, students will research and become familiar with practices of the artist, including marketing/promotion, exhibition, artist presentations and studio operations. A grade of 'C' or better is required for credit.
