Creative Studio

Catalog description

For ART majors only or by permission of the instructor. Creativity is a learnable skill that serves as the foundation for creative practice. Creative Studio will focus on the creative process from ideation and problem solving through self-assessment and iteration. Students will be introduced to creative practice as a skilled discipline and rigorous form of exploration and requires persistent research, analysis, synthesis, and execution. Through a series of engaging hands-on studio projects, students will be encouraged to establish an independently driven creative ideation process.
