Prerequisite: ANS 1200, ANS 1210 and CHEM 1020 or CHEM 1120. Examining the nutritional roles of water, carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, minerals, vitamins, and other dietary components through comparing structure, function, and other aspects of gastrointestinal tracts on digestion, absorption, and metabolism of nutrients among livestock species.
