Prerequisites: AGRN 2000 or AGRN 2400 or AGRN 3000; consent of instructor This course provides an in-depth study of soil classification systems, including Soil Taxonomy and the World Reference Base for Soil Resources. The course emphasizes hands-on activities and assessments designed to prepare students for the soil science licensure exam. Students will explore the principles of soil formation, horizonation, diagnostic features, and classification criteria, with a focus on practical application and field-based skills.
