Turfgrass Management

Catalog description

Principles and practices of managing turf and turfgrasses, including, but not limited to, identification, selection, establishment, and maintenance of grasses for landscapes, sports fields, parks and roadsides. Students will become familiar with the various components of turfgrass environments, such as soil substrates, nutrient management, irrigation, turf pests/diseases (and their control), and budget management.
