Women’s Health Elective

Catalog description

This elective course will increase students’ knowledge and clinical problem-solving skills in women’s health across a variety of conditions encountered in pharmacy practice. Emphasis will be placed on medication selection and optimization, medication safety, and patient-centered counseling. Students will also be introduced to foundational concepts in ambulatory care practice and development of pharmacist-led clinical services. This course is designed to build upon the foundational knowledge and skills acquired in the therapeutics curriculum.
