Catalog description

Practice Ready 2 is the final course in a two-course series designed to prepare student pharmacists for post-graduation success. The course builds on foundational licensure preparation by requiring student pharmacists to engage in self-directed, progressive review of material for the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination® and the applicable pharmacy law licensure examination. Student pharmacists will complete scheduled summative assessments to monitor readiness and guide continued preparation. The course also includes professional development activities focused on post-graduate transition, career readiness, professional responsibility, and preparation for entry into pharmacy practice. Focused topic reviews and live, interactive workshops for licensure preparation culminate in a comprehensive review intended to support students’ readiness to take the licensure examinations upon graduation and transition successfully into professional practice.
