Catalog description

Practice Ready 1 is the first course in a two-course series designed to prepare student pharmacists for post-graduation success. The course focuses on early and strategic preparation for pharmacist licensure, including the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination® and the applicable pharmacy law licensure examination, as well as readiness for post-graduate career opportunities. Student pharmacists will complete self-assessments to evaluate licensure readiness, identify areas for growth, and begin foundational preparation for licensure examinations. The course also incorporates professional development activities to support career planning, professional identity formation, and preparation for the transition from student pharmacist to practitioner. Emphasis is placed on developing self-directed learning habits, assessing progress over time, and building a structured approach to licensure exam preparation and professional readiness.
