Collaboration for Oral Health Care

GR This course is designed for health professional students in multiple disciplines. Students will learn principles of interprofessional collaboration and care coordination within the context of oral health care. Course content will demonstrate how the quality of oral health care affects general physical and emotional health of individuals. Emphasis will be placed on skill development in prevention of oral disease, oral health maintenance, early disease recognition and referral management. Interprofessional competency development is the framework to enhance both the scope and quality of care patients receive, as well as improve treatment outcomes.
