Catalog description

GR This course introduces the theory and methods of interventions for health behaviors, and demonstrates their applicability in the fields of public health and clinical research. Topics to be covered include the applicable theories of health behavior change, the different mechanisms of intervention, empirical validation of intervention methods, the format of intervention methods, and the phases of validation (efficacy, effectiveness, and dissemination). Students will be expected to participate in discussion boards, complete weekly homework assignments, and take a mid-term and final exam.
