Catalog description
This seminar covers the basics of public administration, especially as it relates to city and municipal governments. Students will explore some basic theoretical approaches to the subject as well as the practical and complex aspects of managing politics and policy-making in the modern American City. This course will also examine the important role of public administration and public administrators in promoting the public welfare in an Urban context.
