Catalog description

The course provides a theoretical basis and clinical experience for the practice of holistic nursing for adult patients with critical illness in acute care settings. Emphasis is on applying the nursing process in order to provide safe and effective care to assigned clients. Students will use evidence-based practice to perform comprehensive assessments, plan and provide care, and evaluate outcomes of nursing actions.
