Catalog description

(Formerly NURS 434). The focus of this course is on the application of the nursing process in the delivery of care to clients and families with commonly occurring psychiatric health problems. Emphasis is on environmental factors and the application of developmental systems and stress theories as they relate to the care of clients across their lifespan. Three lecture hours each week. (Formerly NURS 434;3340/3344). Three lecture hours and six clinical hours (NURS 3344) each week.
