Catalog description

This is the Health Promotion, Maintenance, and Restoration I Laboratory course which focuses on the application of the theoretical knowledge base obtained from exploring the basic concepts in the management of adult clients experiencing selected health illnesses and problems in a skills and simulation laboratory environment. Demonstrations of the transfer of fundamental, nursing-level interpersonal, psychomotor and critical thinking skills are assessed with opportunities for the development and practice of intermediate psychomotor and critical thinking skills that support health promotion, maintenance, and restoration of assigned clients. One (1) laboratory hour/ 2 contact hours each week. (Formerly NURS 310, NURS 3100/3101/3104).
