Catalog description

This course focuses on knowledge required by nurses to safely administer and manage pharmacotherapeutic agents. The principles of pharmacology, pharmacokinetics of major drug classifications, potential adverse reactions and drug interactions will be presented as bases for nursing decisions regarding pharmacotherapeutic interventions. Care of the client throughout the lifespan is emphasized. Corequisite(s): NURS 3100 ; NURS 3340 ).
