This course is designed to give students the opportunity to learn and apply the principles, processes, strategies and tactics that are required to plan and implement an effective marketing operation. It includes such topics as public relations, the role of community outreach, conducting community needs assessments, the importance of the role of advocacy, and lobbying in the nonprofit sector. This course is an elective in the nonprofit minor.
