Students will examine the concepts, issues and significance of the “voluntary sector,” including recruitment, placement, and volunteer development. Ion; this course, they will also examine the role of nonprofit board of directors, how they can best relate to professional staff, and how to identify volunteer leadership needs. This course is required for the minor in Nonprofit Leadership and Management.
