Internship in HPSS

Catalog description

This course will provide an opportunity for the student to gain invaluable hands-on experience via an internship opportunity in an area related to their major. Through working part-time for an organization (150 to 300 contact hours over the course of the semester), the student will be provided the opportunity to apply concepts learned in their major’s courses to realistic problem-based scenarios. The student will also have the opportunity to learn from experts and build professional connections with potential employers. Can be repeated up to 3 times, for up to 9-credits total (see rational for change)
