Catalog description

A course that utilizes principles and practices used to design instructions and experiences in program content. Exploration of teaching methods used to design developmentally appropriate content for students in K-12 physical education programs. Focus will be on implementation of lifetime physical education concepts which utilize teaching with skill themes, movement concepts, fitness/wellness, and sport skills to inspire students to remain physically active as adults. Observations in elementary and secondary schools required.
