Catalog description

Students will take a multi-disciplinary approach to the preparation of a professional business plan. Although the plan is the final product, the course explores and develops the more important skills of evaluating a business opportunity, validating markets, and the skills conducive to venture success including team building, organizing, planning, and persuading. The format for the classes uses both text on the subject and a considerable amount of review of award-winning Opportunity Funding Corporation Venture Challenge Competition plans and presentations.
