Catalog description

This course serves as an introduction to a variety of health care options currently available in our society. Students will explore basic concepts of pharmacology, nutritional supplements, homeopathy, psychological effects on health, oriental medicine, techniques of healing movements, healing touch, and manipulation techniques. Students will be exposed to a variety of viewpoints and encouraged to critically evaluate different theories of health and health care.
