Critical Issues in Health Care

Catalog description

This course examines current and future health issues within the United States. The purpose of the course is to expose students to some of the critical issues that will impact healthcare in the future. Some of these issues include the aging of the population, the supply and demand of heath care providers, the growing diversity of the U.S. population, the use of medical and information technologies in health care, and many more.
