Physics Principles for Health Science

Catalog description

This course provides students with the opportunity to learn basic physics principles including those of lever systems, laws of motion, forces and force interactions, temperature, and heat. These concepts are then applied to the environment and the human body so that students may acquire a sound basis for their subsequent work in HLSC 4140, Biomechanics and Gross Anatomy.
