In this course, we will look at World War I through many different lenses. Although we will touch on traditional topics that are typically associated with the war, such as trench warfare, military technology, and the various home fronts, we will also study topics like how the war influenced the non-European populations of the world and how the war affected the environment in different parts of the globe.
