Catalog description

This course examines the critical aspects of social and emotional development in young children and explores theories and research on emotional intelligence, attachment, self-regulation, and social interactions. Special attention is given to understanding how social and emotional development may vary for all learners. Candidates will gain practical skills for promoting healthy socio-emotional growth in children PreK-3 through in-depth discussions, case studies, and hands-on experiences that will enrich their knowledge.
