This course provides an introduction to modern cryptography and its applications in computer and network security. Topics includes mathematics in cryptography, attack and threaten models and security goals, traditional cryptography, modern cryptography, design of private and public key encryption schemes, digital signatures, authentication and key management, and selected applications.
