Catalog description

This course is to teach the principle of design, analysis, and implementation of algorithms. Topics include: algorithm complexity, mathematical tool for analyzing algorithm complexity, algorithm design techniques, such as divide-and-conquer, dynamic programming, and heuristics, fundamental algorithms, such as sorting, searching, and pattern matching, selected advanced data structures and algorithms.
