Catalog description

This course is targeted to the student who has no or very little programming knowledge and experience. The goal of this course is to get the student prepared for the more advanced programming courses. Students will understand the nature of programming as a human activity, learn and experience the main components of the programming process, understand the main control structures of procedural and object-oriented programming languages, and learn and be able to use major programming logic tools to design a program. The course will provide a hands-on demonstration of program design using selected procedural and object-oriented languages.
