The Building Mechanical System Design Lab is project-oriented and is combined with two lecture-oriented courses, Lighting and Power System, and Building Mechanical System Design. With the given building general information, such as location, function, schedule, space load, and HVAC system type, students will design and draw the layout of the building energy systems, including the lighting system and HVAC system. Students will learn to use Revit for building energy system design and energy analysis.
