This course introduces fundamental techniques in cell and tissue culture, including the preparation of various culture media, initiation of cell cultures from plant and animal tissues, and the propagation of cells and tissues. Emphasis is placed on the principles and methodologies underlying the production of pharmaceutical compounds using cell and tissue culture systems.
