Catalog description

Fundamental concepts and analytical procedures used to abstract and simplify complex systems using geospatial information systems. This course emphasizes geometric, coincidence, and adjacency models as applied to surface analysis, linear analysis, raster analysis, topological overlay, and contiguity analysis. Spatial modeling will be used to describe, simulate, predict, and resolve real-world problems, issues, and systems.
