Catalog description

The course will discuss key features of environmental and resource economics; examine the role policies and institutions play in environmental and natural resource management, as well as issues involving intergenerational and intertemporal allocation of resources. Benefit-cost analysis and applications of non-market valuation methods to environmental and natural resources will be discussed. International issues involving use and management of natural resources will also be studied.
