Catalog description

This course provides an introduction to the fundamental concepts of animal science, including animal anatomy, physiology, nutrition, reproduction, genetics, health, behavior, and the significant role of animals in agriculture and human society. The course incorporates practical laboratory sessions designed to offer students a comprehensive, hands-on understanding of animal systems, their management, and how they grow, develop, and interact within various environments. AGSC 1411 must be taken concurrently with AGSC 1410 on first instance. The AGSC 1411 can be taken alone as a repeat. Corequisite(s): AGSC 1410 Pre or Corequisite(s): AGSC 1410 CIP 01.0901
